This video shows a robotic version of the famous theoretical physicist Albert Einstein. This Einstein robot was designed by Hanson Robotics of Dallas, Texas. Scientists of UC San Diego's California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit 2) then equipped the robot with specialized software that allows it to interact with humans in a natural way. The robot can recognize the facial expressions of the humans interacting with it, and respond to these with its own matching facial expressions.
