This video shows how Johnny Chung Lee of Carnegie Mellon University used the Nintendo Wii Remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs) to accurately track the location of his head and render images on the TV screen that are dependent on his viewing position. This set-up effectively transforms the TV display into a portal to a virtual environment, i.e., the display reacts to head and body movement accordingly as if it were a real window creating a realistic illusion of depth and space.
